Some users are having problems installing F96CE_XFCE_FUSILLI puppy derivative.

Of course, users who are used to puppy have got no difficulties when doing it, so this tutorial is directed to windows users who want to start with this fantastic derivative.

It’s explained the easiest way, you only need to follow this instructions:

1.- Download the ISO (We will update this link with future versions)

2 Install the ISO into a USB (This could be the most difficult part, if you need help, don’t hesitate to ask us. People recomend you to use rufus, unetbooting…, but the best option for me is

Universal-USB-Installer-2.0.1.4a.exe , because it is the only one I can use without problems when in windows.

Universal-USB-Installer-2.0.1.4a.exe , you can obtain it from https://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/ and you have the instructions to make the cd.

n.b.- At the list of isos to be installed, you can’t find F96CE_XFCE_FUSILLI because it is not a final version nowadays, so you must go down in the list of OS, and choose the option to include your own ISO, search it (into your download folder) and continue.

3.- This is the key step.- Now you must boot from your USB. The “problem” appears when you don’t know what is the key you must click on when booting to make your system start from USB.

– Let’s imagine that after recording the ISO using Universal USB Installer, you reboot your system

– You must be ready to press the key that allow you to start from usb (in my system is F8 but it depends, so you must search for it or try one time and another with the differente function keys)

-You must press it in an exact moment, so my suggestion, is push this function key with short intervals till the boot menu appears, haha.

-Now choose your USB key

-Boot F96CE_XFCE_FUSILLI

This system start, and you only need to configure it with your language, your internet connection, the time of your country… THAT IS EASY because you only need to follow the instructions.

Now comes another important part, because when you decide to make the first reboot, puppy is going to ask you to create a save file and where to put it.

My suggestion.- 512Mb for this first save file (you can increase , never decrease, it later) and save it at the same USB, so you can take this system with you.

Now you have this OS installed in your usb and you can star to work with it where you want. (only remember to boot from the USB each time you want to use it)

This system can also be installed frugal or full, but this need a more detailed explanation, and we’ll do it other day… NOW IT’S THE TIME to start F96CE_XFCE_FUSILLI

Algunos usuarios tienen problemas para instalar el derivado cachorro F96CE_XFCE_FUSILLI .

Por supuesto, los usuarios que están acostumbrados a hacer cachorros no tienen dificultades para hacerlo, por lo que este tutorial está dirigido a usuarios de Windows que quieran comenzar con este fantástico derivado.

Está explicado de la manera más fácil, solo necesitas seguir estas instrucciones:

Universal-USB-Installer-2.0.1.4a.exe, porque es el único que puedo usar sin problemas cuando estoy en Windows.

nb- En la lista de isos a instalar, no encuentra F96CE_XFCE_FUSILLI porque no es una versión final hoy en día, por lo que debe bajar en la lista de SO, y elegir la opción para incluir su propia ISO, búsquela ( en su carpeta de descargas) y continúe.

3.- Este es el paso clave.- Ahora debes arrancar desde tu USB . El “problema” aparece cuando no sabes cuál es la clave en la que debes hacer clic al arrancar para que tu sistema arranque desde USB.

– Imaginemos que después de grabar la ISO usando Universal USB Installer, reinicias tu sistema

– Debes estar listo para presionar la tecla que te permite iniciar desde usb (en mi sistema es F8 pero depende, entonces debes buscarlo o probar una y otra vez con las diferentes teclas de función)

-Debes presionarlo en un momento exacto, así que mi sugerencia es presionar esta tecla de función con intervalos cortos hasta que aparezca el menú de inicio, jaja.

-Ahora elige tu llave USB

-Arranque F96CE_XFCE_FUSILLI

Este sistema arranca, y solo necesitas configurarlo con tu idioma, tu conexión a internet, la hora de tu país… ESO ES FÁCIL porque solo necesitas seguir las instrucciones.

No viene otra parte importante, porque cuando decidas hacer el primer reinicio, puppy te va a pedir que crees un archivo de guardado y dónde ponerlo.

Mi sugerencia.- 512Mb para este primer archivo guardado (puedes aumentarlo, nunca disminuirlo, luego) y guardarlo en el mismo USB, para que puedas llevarte este sistema contigo.

Ahora tienes este sistema operativo instalado en tu usb y puedes comenzar a trabajar con él donde quieras. (solo recuerda arrancar desde el USB cada vez que quieras usarlo)

Este sistema también se puede instalar frugal o completo, pero esto necesita una explicación más detallada, y lo haremos otro día… AHORA ES EL MOMENTO de iniciar F96CE_XFCE_FUSILLI
